Do I need planning?
No - in most cases
Garden rooms are classed as outbuildings and are therefore allowed under standard permitted evelopment. There are guidelines that you will need to follow but providing you are in the back garden and 2.5m high you should be fine. Click here for more about planning
How long does it take to build?
Typically 1 day for small buildings and 2 days for the larger buildings.
The garden rooms are made in sections similar to a SIPS panel build, however our unique construction method allows us to use different materials. The upshot is that the factory build saves a massive amount of time on site - and ultimately passes the saving onto the customer.
Do you use composite cladding?
Yes - we can offer timber and composit cladding
The demand for composite cladding is increasing year on year, as the product improves and enconomies of scale bring the price down. Both timber and composite cladding have their merits, and both are suitable for aquality garden room. Find out more here.

Insulated Garden Rooms
We often get asked whether a garden room needs insulation and if so, which is the best insulation.
Summerhouses
Uninsulated summer houses absorb heat quickly. High-quality insulation boards (like those used in modern garden rooms) help regulate the temperature, keeping the heat out in the summer and in during the winter.
Rockwool
Use Rockwool if: You prioritize acoustics. It is ideal for partition walls and where you need to block noise, however it requires twice the thickness to match PIR U-Values
PIR (Celotex)
Use PIR if: You are working with limited space (such as garden room walls or underfloor heating) and want to hit better U-values with thinner materials. It traps heat brilliantly and blocks drafts,

About Us
Our Story
From sheds and stables, to summer rooms and studios, our background in sectional buildings has a solid reputation for quality buildings since 1988. Set in the heart of the midlands, our purpose built manufacturing facility also has an indoor showroom for you to view our portfolio in person.
We've installed buildings in Lands End, and John O' Groats, along with Denmark, Spain, and the Channel Islands, however we also have building as far away as the Falkland Islands.
Constructed in sectional format with a bespoke twist, means that we can provide a cost effective building that appears to be crafted on site.
BUILT TO LAST
We've been installing insulated garden rooms since 2004
This one was fitted in 2007 and has been used as a treatment room. It's still going strong.. in fact the customer contacted us with a view to extending it, which is why we found out how well it's doing.
At around 20 years old, it's still got plenty of life in it yet, proving just what a sound investment a well built garden room is.
